National Council on Administration of Criminal Justice Reforms Committee is appointed by the President of Supreme Court the Chief Justice of Kenya. The aim of the committee is auditing report on the criminal justice administration in Kenya. The report shows the problems and challenges Kenyans face when seeking justice. This Committee is drawn from all sector players including KDF, Police, children department among many more.

The purpose of this visit to Kenya Commander Kenya Army was basically to highlight the re-marrying areas of collaboration and Co-operation with the Military, especially touching on Court Martial.        Kenya Army Commander Lieutenant General Robert Kibochi appreciated their visit and expressed his willingness to work with the Committee, being that KDF already has a member in that Committee Brigadier Dindi, The Director of Military Processions. The Commander Kenya Army appreciated and agreed to improve Court Martial System. Committee members requested if they could be allowed to visit one of the Court Martial sitting slated for 1st February 2018 at Embakasi Garrison, to familiarize themselves on the actual events that take place during such sittings. Other issues discussed are appeals preferred to the High Court from Court Martial Convictions and sentences. Hon. Lady Justice Grace Ngenye who’s the chair of the Committee said that at times Judiciary is misunderstood when they handle Court Martial appeal cases especially when they involve acquittals. She reiterated on the need to Cooperate and see where the laws can be improved on Kenya Defence Act ( K D A)  Kenya Army Commander Lieutenant General Robert Kibochi thanked the sub Committee for visiting Army Headquarters and assured the Committee that KDF is ready to cooperate with them fully. Present during the meeting where Deputy Army Commander, Major General Raria,Brigadier Dindi Colonel Ngatia Colonel Legal Army Headquarters, Hon Andagi Francis a senior member of the Committee Hon Christine Njagi, Lady Justice Rachel Ngetich, Mr Edigar Kavuravu, Mr Duncan Okello, Irene Omari, Mercy Ambayo, Mr Dominic Nyambane, Mr Farreline Nalimae and SSP Dr Miriam Nyamwamu.
